Dear Parents, It's hard to believe there are only three weeks left of school! The students enjoyed our two back-to-back field trips in spite of the windy weather we had on Monday! A huge thank you to all the chaperones who attended and to Nicole Rasmusson for organized our trip to Cloud Bridge Printing. Mary Olson has organized a field trip for us for next Thursday, May 20. Permission slips will be coming home tomorrow (Wed). Other upcoming events include the following: Field Day - May 28 and Talent Show - June 2. We will be writing poetry over the next two weeks and each student will publish a book of their poetry. In math we are continuing our work in fractions. Please take time to do some of the activities suggested in the math parent letters that went home. We continue to work on reading skills using the stories in the reading book and other texts. The remainder will involve a lot of review of the word study that we have done over the year. Because of antsy behaviors we are back to using the card system. Please help your child remember that school is not over yet and they need to manage themselves appropriately! Have a great week! Marcy Loy
