  • PTC Board Meetings, first tuesdays of the month...

  • September TBA , 2011: 6:00p-7:30pm - Open House
    Open house.... come chat with your children(s) teachers, visit the classroom and see what the kids have been up to!

  • Thursday, Sept 8th - 12:00-1:00 PTC General Meeting
    Please come review/discuss/approve the PTC Budget and events for the year... We absolutely need a quorum to approve the budget, and we can talk about PTC programs and strategies for the year....

  • September 30th - 4:00-7:00 Fall Festival

  • Saturday, September TBA: 8a checkin, 9a-12 sale - Sport Swap
    This is your chance to get rid of outgrown sports equipment, get some great deals, and do a little fundraising at the same time! Interested?

  • October TBA fall break, no school

  • Nov TBA P/T conferences, no school.

  • Mid Nov TBA , 2010 Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
    a pre-Holiday thank you as we swing into the crush before xmas.

  • December - Holiday Drive
    Each year the WG community donates gifts of clothing, games, toys, and other items to needy families in the Santa Fe community. Volunteer parents have organized this drive for many years. Please have your child pick a snowflake off the tree and give to a needy family in our community.

  • Dec TBA - 5:30pm PTC General Meeting
    Please come review/discuss the PTC Budget and upcoming events and issues for the year...

  • early December 2010- Scholastic Book Fair
    Annual book fair.

  • December TBA Holiday Fair at Artist Market
    10% of proceeds go to WGPTC... we encourage lots of people to go and buy things!

  • Dec TBA Christmas Break no school

  • Nov. - Jan. - Parent Direct Donation Drive
    This is the second major fundraiser. The goal of the PTC is to increase family participation this year! Families will be mailed a donation letter stating the need for funds to support PE at Wood Gormley, student assistance, classroom supplies, etc. A direct donation to the PTC is the best way to financially contribute to WG - no overhead. Use the easy donation method on-line via paypal. Your contribution goes a long way in making WG a first rate school!

  • Saturday, TBA , 2012 8th Annual Panther Run, 8:00-11:00am.
    Take a Saturday morning run with your favorite WG buddies! Come join the fun - doing the 1K, 5K or walk! It's a great way to feel good about yourself and participate in one of the biggest WG fundraisers!

  • Friday, May , TBA ,2011 11:30-12:30 pm -PTC Annual Meeting
    Attend the PTC Annual meeting. Vote in new board members.

  • Friday, late May TBA - Field Day, 8:30am-
    Field day is a fun filled day for the WG students! Students spend the morning playing field games and eating hot dogs and other goodies. Lots of parents are involved making this happen each year for the students. It is a great way to end the year!

  • Vargas/Palmer class performance May TBA . Parents are invited to attend the performance on Friday, May TBA at 8:45 a.m. The 5/6 and 6th grade classes will be performing 'TBA' on Thursday, May TBA at 12:30 & 1:30 p.m.

  • Annual Spring Band Concert will be held late May TBA, in the gym at 8:30 a.m. for students 6:00 p.m. for parents.

  • Field Day on Friday, late May TBA. We need lots of volunteers to ensure that this day is a great success!

  • Talent Show - held in early June during the day... time TBA.

  • Sixth grade graduation will be at 6:00 p.m. TBA.

  • Last day of school is May TBA
