The 2010-11 school year will mark the 11th year of this project which showcases students’ creative works of art that evolve out of diverse school curriculum. These works of art, most often created in parent/teacher/student partnerships, emerge from art and music classes. During the course of the evening’s events, participants and spectators will enjoy visual arts displays and music and dance performances.
Art Night’s goal is to provide a positive and professional venue in which to showcase and celebrate the creative spirit of all Wood Gormley students. “Art Night” reinforces the arts as cultural expression, as unifier that engages the whole child, as a bridge builder that connects students to subjects, as an inspiration to imagine and a visual language that promotes literacy. And – it’s FUN!
Art night will also feature the works of some Adult Artists for sale. If you would like to BE one of those Artists, we have a downloadable registration form you need to fill out and turn in with a check for $15
