Sport Swap

Saturday, Sept 19th, 2009
Wood Gormley Cafeteria

              8a-9a check-in sales items
              9a-12p sales
12 noon 'last call', cash out and clean up
1p left overs go to Charity or the dumpster if not picked up....

Who can participate?: Anybody.... but we're not going to advertise in the paper to the general public this year. We'd like to work the kinks out before trying to make it too big. If you have friends that don't happen to go to Wood-Gormely, feel free to invite them to come sell or buy.

What will be sold?: We'd like to focus on things that the kids typically outgrow and we all would like to hand down or get deals on. Sports equipment and winter clothing. Things like: skiis, poles, boots, helmets, skates, rollerblades, skateboards, bikes, soccer cleats, winter jackets, snow pants, and winter boots. AND a big seller is always any outgrown WG shirts and sweatshirts to be worn as 'standard dress'. This is really NOT intended to be a general purpose Rummage sale.

How does it work?: People can bring in items in the morning, check them in and tag for the prices, shop, and come pick up left overs and sale proceeds at the end of the day. We are suggesting that sellers make a donation of 20% of proceeds from all the items sold to the PTC at checkout.

Go through your garage now and lets get ready for winter!

List your sales items and get everything tagged for express check-in to avoid the crunch on swap day!

Do Ya Wanna Help?

We will need two or maybe three people to man the table for check-in, sales, and cash-out activity.... if you would like to sign up for an hour, or more, please contact Dan Baker
