Wood Gormley PTC Fundraising
The Wood Gormley PTC raises money to pay for items that are not covered by the school district such as physcial education by a certified teacher, and other activities that enhance and grow learning experiences. The PTC also strives to increase family interaction in support of the school community.
The PTC is a 501c3 non-profit, and your donations may be tax deductable. Our Fed Tax ID: 85-0363817

You can donate anytime to the Wood Gormley PTC. Remember, all donations are tax deductible as the PTC is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Please make out checks to 'Wood Gormley PTC' and note in the memo area that it is a 'Direct Donation'. Please give envelopes to Anita in the office, or to Lindsley Lee, our Treasurer. THANKS

White/Yellow Page Ads
We will be accepting business card size ads for $50 each that will be placed in the printed phone Directory as well as the online Directory. Its a great way to let the WG community know about YOUR family business so we can patronize locally owned and operated establishments. All we need is an electronic image (.jpg format) of your business card, or a card for us to scan.... and your check!
Ads can still be added to the online Directory display, but the hardcopy distribution has been released for SY09-10.
Bring Boxtops from cereals and other items to the bin in the lobby and WG will get cash in return. This is an easy fundraiser that goes all year long! A list of participating products in now online.
Cell Phone recycling
You can help us earn money for our school! The Wood Gormley PTC has signed up to be part of RACE to RECYCLE; it is a program in which we collect old qualified intact cell phones and turn them in to Motorola for payment by check. We can collect up to $21,000 per calendar year!
Here’s how you can help:
- Find old cell phones at home
- Hold collections at your workplace
- Ask your friends, neighbors and relatives to donate their old cell phones
Bring all the old cell phones to the collection boxes at school... Collect any brand and any model throughout the entire school year and bring them in to school. Collection boxes are located in the lobby’s Recycle Center. Encourage your friends to get involved, too!

Albertsons - Community Partners Cards
The new Albertsons Community Partners cards have arrived! Pickup your card at the office after Tuesday, 1/8. How it works?? No need to register the card this time - just start using it. Scan your card each time you purchase groceries at Albertsons. Wood Gormley receives a percent of each sale. The percentage increases as different dollar levels are met. The dollars really add up, so please grab a new card and start scanning!!!
Lands End Purchases
Wood Gormley is registered as a preferred school at the Land's End website: Lands End. Our preferred school number is 900076480. We receive 3% of every dollar on any school item purchased which can add up to big $s throughout the year. Go to the Land's End website, plug in our school code and we'll get a percentage of the sales! January catalogs are coming.....stay tuned!!!
